Behaviour Support in Schools

View the 2017 Obudsman Inquiry into behaviour management in schools. This report focuses on issues concerning students with complex needs and challenging behaviour. The report discusses the difficult challenges that schools face, but also draws attention to reasonable steps that can and should be taken to meet the learning and support needs of students, within a framework of best practice and evidence-based behaviour support.

Senior Project & Policy Officer Position at UNSW

UNSW- School of Psychiatry- 3DN are currently seeking a Senior Project & Policy Officer to coordinate the ‘Improving the Mental Health Outcomes of People with an Intellectual’ Project. This project is a National Health & Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Partnerships for Better Health Project that will run from 2014 – 2018. The incumbent will also perform valuable duties and responsibilities key to the functioning of the Department, such as direct communications and develop funding grants. This is a 1.0 FTE full-time (35 hours per week) fixed term position available for one year with prospects of renewal.
