Behaviour Support in Schools

View the 2017 Obudsman Inquiry into behaviour management in schools. This report focuses on issues concerning students with complex needs and challenging behaviour. The report discusses the difficult challenges that schools face, but also draws attention to reasonable steps that can and should be taken to meet the learning and support needs of students, within a framework of best practice and evidence-based behaviour support.

Healthier Lives in the Albury Region 19th July

NSW Council for Intellectual Disability will be holding a forum on strategies for improving the health of people with intellectual disability in Albury and the surrounding regions on Tuesday 19 July at the Commercial Club, Albury.

The day is for family members and carers, people with intellectual disability and service providers.

There will be session on:

  • Challenges to health care
  • Tips for visiting the doctor
  • Issues for regional areas
  • Making health care work for you

There will be easy to understand sessions for people with intellectual disabilities.

Learning and Growing Together Conference Sold Out!

On 27th May 2011, 230 delegates gathered at Liverpool Catholic Club for the child and adolescent mental health and intellectual disability conference. Delegates who attended the conference are now able to access the conference papers with the login and password they received in their conference bags.
